M&E Design and Consultancy
One half of the centre comprised a multi-purpose dividable area with associated kitchen and toilets that could be used by play groups and other members of the community. This side of the centre had to be aesthetically pleasing to attract the community, along with a high level of amenities available. The kitchen area had to be suitable for weddings and other functions whilst being open to all other groups during the day.
The other side of the centre comprised changing areas, showers and toilets for local sports team to use when using the adjacent sports fields. The building services in this part of the centre had to be robust enough to withstand sometimes volatile behaviour.
