Engineering Design

Working to a specific brief and budget, we use our extensive technical experience to create those solutions which help project delivery, and save time and money without compromising on safety or quality.

The majority of our engineering projects require the complete engineering package including design development, technical specifications and compliance, and co-ordinated CAD drawings, and we often use the latest in 3D REVIT Building Information Modelling (BIM).

Sustainability and Energy

Construction projects are obligated to meet energy improvements required by continuously stringent Building Regulations. This means the construction industry must reduce the energy used by buildings by improving efficiency and utilising sustainable and low/zero carbon technologies.

We’re committed to sustainable construction and have significant experience in sustainability initiatives, renewable energy, energy efficiency solutions and promoting energy conservation. We also employ in-house low carbon and sustainability consultants.

Onsite monitoring and management

For a building to operate efficiently and effectively, the services installation must be robust and fit for purpose.

To ensure an installation operates and functions as designed, we offer the full range of onsite monitoring services, including factory witness testing, site testing, integrated system testing, witnessing commissioning (including seasonal commissioning) and handover management.

Only after all these services have been completed are we satisfied that the building will operate in an efficient and effective manner.

BIM and REVIT

Building projects are most efficient when there’s a collaboration and clear communication between designers, architects, structural engineers, contractors, and facilities managers.

We’re experts in Autodesk REVIT Building Information Modelling (BIM), which enables us to work with all parties to plan and track various stages of a building's lifecycle performance. This allows us to provide ‘cradle to grave’ advice on building operation, performance and cost.

By using this state-of-the-art software, we can get a better understanding of a building’s thermal properties. This enables us to ensure the services selection and design is the ‘best fit’ for the building.
